Editing URL

Prerequisites: Users require folio administrator+ permissions for the module to complete this task.

Set an external URL to display in the frame of the External module. The content of the Cartella folio view is replaced by the content of the external site.

To edit the external URL for an External module:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Navigate to [name-of-folio] > [name-of-external-module].
  3. Click Click here to edit external content in the module view.

    The Site Content Editor dialog displays.
  4. Enter the URL in the External URL field.

    Important
    Delete https:// from the URL before saving. Only use www.
  5. Click Save.
    Troubleshooting
    If the following message displays:
    https's server IP address could not be found

    Enter a different URL (e.g., Google) and save the value. Enter the desired URL again and ensure to remove https:// from the URL. For example, enter www.ingeniux.com/ and not https://www.ingeniux.com/ Click Save.

    The external website displays in the iFrame.
