Forum Modules
The Forum module adds discussion forums to a folio. A forum contains multiple topics. Moderators and folio administrators have access to set permissions at the module, topic, and discussion levels.
Forum Module View
The module view displays forums. Create, edit, and organize topics within the forum, discussions within the topics, and posts within the discussions. Use the Forum Navigation area (left) or the Forum area (right) to navigate to a discussion.
Topic View
Topics (i.e., threads) are the top-tier level of the forum tree in the module. Use the Forum Navigation area (left) or the Forum area (right) to navigate to different topics and discussions.
Discussion View
Discussions further organize different types of posts and information as the second-tier level of the forum tree in the module. Discussions contain topics and typically display the most recent posts.
Post View
Posts (i.e., threads) live within discussions. All users with permissions can create new posts, and all Cartella users can comment on and rate posts. Use Categories to display posts associated with the same category.
