Changing Passwords


Prerequisites: Only the user can use these steps to change their own password. Site administrators, see Resetting Passwords to reset user passwords in Settings.

After the initial user setup, users can change their own password.

To change the password associated with your user account:
  1. After you have logged into Cartella, click your user name in the menu bar.
    Your profile view opens with your user profile on the left.
  2. Click Change Password.

    A form displays with three fields:
    • Current password
    • New password
    • Confirm new password
  3. Provide values for each of the password fields.
  4. Click Change Password for the password change to take effect.

Provided that you’ve entered the old password correctly, the new password becomes active. You’ll receive an email notification containing the new password.
