Deleting Roles

Prerequisites: Users require site administrator permissions to complete this task.
Deleting roles permanently removes roles from the Cartella database.
Warning
Deleted roles cannot be restored.
Warning
Users and groups assigned to the deleted role lose access to the associated role permissions for the specific folio, sub-folio, or module.
Note
The four built-in Cartella roles cannot be deleted:
  • Contributor
  • Folio Admin
  • Moderator
  • Sr Contributor
To delete roles:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Roles.
  3. Choose one of the following steps.
    • Click the remove (-) button in the group's table row.

      • Click Delete.

    • Click the group and select Actions > Delete.

      Note
      Click CTRL+Shift to select multiple groups.
    Cartella deletes the role(s).
