The Ingeniux CMS Winter 2026 release delivers more than one hundred enhancements that strengthen the DITA Publishing Pipeline, improve publishing transparency, and streamline daily authoring tasks.


The Ingeniux CMS Winter 2026 Software Release is around the corner. This major update introduces product stability and quality improvements that benefit users of all levels who work in the CMS. It includes well over one hundred updates to the software, primarily centering on the DITA Publishing Pipeline, publishing capabilities, and user experience enhancements.

DITA Publishing Pipeline Update

Make DITA production-ready at scale, streamline publishing pipeline operations, and reduce friction for content editors and administrators.

Highlights for DITA Authors and Administrators

  • Enhanced CMS alias management to streamline separating drafts from published content while maintaining the same aliased DITA structure
  • Alias support for DITA assets that use custom DTDs
  • Fine-tuned control over DITA map inclusion in alias URL paths and alias URL generation for maps
  • DITA Preview now available on top-level maps
  • Streamlined normalized DITA output URL tracking:
    • Access alias and default URLs from the URL Management Tab to navigate to normalized DITA output on DSS
    • Use DITA alias ID or asset ID URLs to navigate to published normalized DITA content on DSS

DITA Publishing Pipeline Featurization & Fixes

  • Improved accuracy of Site Tree alias structure display and publishing pipeline alias URL build processing
  • Updated pipeline to publish and replicate normalized DITA output to dedicated folder separate from published asset content
  • Enhanced DITA-OT output logging and DITAAlias logging to improve clarity and enhance readability.
  • Updated the “Configure DITA Publishing” dialog DITA map list to exclude maps unmarked from the publishing target
  • DSS returns normalized content regardless of the DITA Root folder location in the Asset Tree
