Deleting Boosts and Exclusions

Deleting field boosts affects InSite Search (ISS) ranking for individual fields, as removed boost values no longer influence search ranking. If users delete field exclusions, the system no longer omits those fields from the search index.
To delete an exclusion or boost:
  1. Navigate to Administration > InSite Search Configuration.
    The Fields tab displays.

  2. Expand the Field Exclusions area or Field Boosts area. Click the Delete this item minus (-) button associated with the to-be-deleted entry.

    A confirmation dialog displays.
  3. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
  4. Click Save in the Actions menu.
