Excluding Schemas

Schema exclusions omit all pages associated with the selected schema and all the page's field content from the search index. No search results return for content associated with excluded schemas.

To add a schema exclusion:
  1. Navigate to Administration > InSite Search Configuration.
  2. Click the Schemas tab, and click Schema Exclusions to expand the area.
  3. Click the Add Exclusion plus (+) button.

  4. Enter a value in the Schema field. Choose one of the following steps:
    • Select a schema definition from the Schema drop-down list.
    • Enter a custom schema name (e.g., Detail Page) by typing the name in the field.
      Use custom names to reference component schemas that may not be visible in Ingeniux CMS.
  5. Click Select Targets to apply the schema exclusion to all or individual targets. Choose one or multiple targets from the dialog that displays.
    By default, the exclusion applies to all publishing targets.

  6. Click Select.
  7. Click Save when you finish.
