AI Module: Content Generation Not Preserving Original XHTML Text Formatting

Statement of Issue

The Ingeniux AI Generation module may not retain text formatting during XHTML content generation processes—particularly when the AI modifies existing content. Vice versa, the AI module may not always follow your prompt or AI help text instructions to avoid content formatting.

Resolution

While Ingeniux AI Generation strives to accurately preserve original text formatting, the module cannot guarantee the retention of formatting during processing. After generating XHTML content with AI, review the field's Source Code dialog to analyze and modify XHTML elements as needed.

Open the Source Code dialog by clicking Tools > Source Code in the XHTML editor field.

Additional Information

Ingeniux AI content generation uses the following approaches when modifying XHTML fields that already contain values:

• Converts <b> tags in the original content to  <strong> tags in the generated content.
• Converts <i> tags in the original content to <em> tags in the generated content.
• May append an asterisk (*) to the end of the last item within unordered lists in the generated content.
• May add <thead> and <tbody> tags within tables that were missing these elements in the original content.
• May disable checkboxes in the generated content that were enabled in the original content.
