CMS 10.6: DSS Preview DITA Alias Links Navigate to Incorrect Asset IDs

Statement of Issue

DSS Preview incorrectly resolves DITA alias ID links (da/ID) in CMS 10.6. When users click these links in site page or component previews, the CMS navigates to asset IDs (a/ID) that share the same ID numbers rather than the correct DITA asset content associated with the alias.

Symptoms

This occurs on DITA alias links in page or component elements such as XHTML editor. The following examples demonstrate the mismatch when clicking DITA alias links in DSS Preview:

• Example 1: A link to da/100 navigates to a/100 instead of the DITA asset associated with the alias.
• Example 2: If no asset ID exists with matching numbers, the CMS navigates to the Dashboard and displays a UI error indicating the asset content cannot be found.

Resolution

Ingeniux will resolve this issue in an upcoming CMS release.
