CMS 10.6.308: "Check In" Dialog Provides Unmarked Publishing Target Options

Statement of Issue

When you check in a content item in CMS 10.6.308, the Check in pages to be published dialog lists all publishing targets as options, including targets not marked for publish. Users may unintentionally choose an unmarked publishing target from this dialog.

Resolution

The Check in pages to be published dialog in CMS 10.6.342 only displays publishing targets where the content item is marked.

As a workaround for earlier versions, if you want to double-check the marked vs. unmarked targets before check-in, you can click the Mark/Unmark for Publish button in the toolbar. In the Change Publish Marking dialog, you can review where the content item is marked/unmarked for publish.
