CMS 10.6.308: Page Field Changes Do Not Automatically Save When Users Perform Workflow Actions
The CMS does not automatically save changes to page field content before the user executes workflow actions on the page. Use the workaround to resolve this issue.
Statement of Issue
After users modify page field content without clicking the Save button, CMS 10.6.308 does not save the new changes automatically when users execute one of the following workflow actions on the page:
- Add the page to a workflow.
- Advance the page in a workflow.
- Remove the page from a workflow.
Resolution
CMS 10.6.342 resolves this issue. Consider upgrading.
Workaround
As a workaround, ensure you always click the Save button in the Edit tab toolbar when you finish editing content in page fields. Do not execute workflow actions on the page until you save your changes.
