CMS 10.6.308: Reverted Pages Requiring Synchronization Do Not Display in Out-of-Sync List

Statement of Issue

After reverting a page to an earlier schema version in CMS 10.6.308, Schema Designer does not recognize the page as out-of-sync.

1. Go to Administration > Schema Designer.
2. Modify a page schema.
3. Save the new schema version.
4. Sync a page to the new schema version.
5. Revert the page to the previous version. (The reverted page does not reflect the current schema version, so the page requires synchronization.)
6. Attempt to synchronize all pages of the schema type.

Symptoms

The reverted page is not listed among those out-of-sync pages because Schema Designer has not reverted the schema version on the page.

Resolution

Workaround

As a workaround, administrators can save an arbitrary change to the schema before synchronization. This increments the schema version, so Schema Designer correctly recognizes all out-of-sync pages.
