CMS 10.6.378+: Missing DITA Dependency Error Text Includes Invalid Link in "Depends On" Tab

For DITA dependency entries not found in the CMS 10.6.378+ database, the corresponding error message includes an invalid link to the missing dependency ID in the "Depends On" tab of DITA Properties.

Statement of Issue

When a DITA asset references the a/ID of a dependency not found in CMS.6.378+, the DITA asset's DITA Properties > Depends On tab indicates an error Error Icon for the dependency entry. The error message includes a link to the missing a/ID. This link is invalid because the a/ID is not in the CMS database.

Symptoms

The Dependency Route column in the DITA Properties > Depends On tab displays the following error message for dependency entries not found in the CMS database:

Error message
Dependent Asset "a/[id]" no longer exists!

If you click the message hyperlink text, an additional error will display:

Error message
Error getting content tab data: Content item a/[id] not found.

Resolution

An upcoming CMS release will resolve this issue, removing the invalid link.
