Implementing InSite Search

In this five-part series, we demonstrate how to implement Ingeniux InSite Search (ISS) to the Ingeniux CMS platform.

Follow along as we demonstrate the process of adding InSite Search to an Ingeniux CMS implementation. We've segmented the journey into five parts: discovery, definition, CMS development, DSS development, and delivery. Search in this project is being done using the DEX search components and not custom search solutions.

Part One: Discovery and Design

In part one of this series, we explore the various design and functional requirements for implementing Ingeniux InSite Search in a CMS. By the end of this lesson you should have a solid understanding of how to prepare for an InSite Search implementation.

Part Two: Definition

In this tutorial we create a specification document for a search page using Ingeniux InSite Search. We then create and adjust the specified schemas.

Part Three: CMS Development

In this tutorial we develop the search page in MVC.

Part Four: DSS Development

In this tutorial we develop MVC views for the Ingeniux InSite Search page.

Part Five: Delivery

In this tutorial we deliver our InSite Search implementation, publishing and adjusting InSite Search settings in the Ingeniux CMS.
