CMS 10.0–10.5 Exporting Search Configuration Files

You may find it useful to export (download) a copy of the configuration settings from the CMS - perhaps to use in another CMS instance or just to have it as a back-up file.

To export an ISS configuration file:
  1. Navigate to Administration > InSite Search Configuration.
  2. Click Export in the Actions menu.
    The Select Target(s) dialog displays.
  3. Select a publishing target.

  4. Click Select.
    Your browser downloads the search configuration settings as a SearchSource.config file.
