Creating Color Themes

Prerequisites: CMS 10.6 must be installed by a systems administrator. See CMS Statistics to check the site version.

In Ingeniux CMS 10.6, administrators can create new color schemes to style the CMS user interface.

To create a color theme:

Navigate to Administration > System Options > CMS > Themes.
Click the Add New Theme button.
The New Theme dialog displays.
Enter the theme name and click Confirm.
The new theme displays directly to the right of the default theme.
Optional: Enter color values in the color theme fields (P1, T3, etc.). Click the color in the correlating field to open the color picker. Choose one of the following steps:

Each value corresponds to different objects in the CMS user interface. See Color Theme Reference for details to identify which fields associate with each object.
- Use the color picker bar and spectrum to select a color.
  1. Drag the circle tool in the color bar to select the color.
  2. Drag the circle tool in the color spectrum area to select the shade of the color. The correlating color code displays in the dialog.
- Enter the code value that correlates with the color. Use the color code field 's up and down arrows to change the color language to hex, RGB, or HSL.
Click outside the color picker. The new color's hex code displays in the correlating color field.
Select or clear the Draft checkbox.
If selected (default setting), the CMS prevents administrators from setting the theme as the default and prevents users from selecting the theme for their user interface display via the Edit Your Profile dialog.
Click Save Themes to apply changes.
Tip
To refresh the Themes interface, click Refresh Themes.
