Prerequisites: Only the user can use these steps to edit their own privacy
settings.
Logged in users can change privacy levels for their profile information in order to
restrict the visibility of this information for users and groups.
To set the visibility of your profile information:
- After you have logged into Cartella, click your user name in the menu
bar.
Your profile view opens with your user profile on the left.
- Click Privacy Settings in the User
Profile area.
The Privacy Settings view displays.
- To change the visibility of a field, choose one of the options from the
Settings menu:
- Public: This field will display to all users.
- Private: This field will not display.
- Specific Groups and Users: If you choose this option, you must
specify which groups and users can view the field.
- Connections: This field displays only for those users who your
have established connections with
other users.
Note
All fields are set to Public by default.
- After you have updated your privacy settings, click
Save.
