About Publishing Profiles | Group publishing targets into defined profiles so that associated publishing targets synchronize shared lingual mapping relationships.
Once configured, users can apply the Publishing Profiles feature to check in content items to multiple publishing targets at once.
For example, publishing profiles can provide an automated synchronization process for your organization's site pages that share lingual mapping relationships. These relationships are established when cloning a master site and are useful when establishing parallel, multilingual macrosites.
Users with permissions can use publishing profile synchronization in page check-in event scenarios. For example, the event can automatically update the page's marked-for-publish version to the current version in the locale sites' publishing targets. The CMS generates a URL map for each target in that profile group.
