Comparing Page Versions with Preview

Diff Against Version - Preview compares the page's current version to a previous version in Preview mode.

To compare page versions in Preview mode:

Navigate to Site > Site Tree > desired page (e.g., Home Page).
Click the History tab. The Available Versions list displays.
Note
Until you select an earlier version, the Diff Against Version - Preview button is inactive.
Select an earlier version in the Available Versions list to activate the Diff Against Version - Preview button.
Click Diff Against Version - Preview to compare versions. The compared content displays in Preview mode.
Note
If you do not see any difference in page content when comparing two versions, then this may indicate that the author of the page checked it back in without making any changes to the content.
Close Preview mode when finished.
