Deleting Modules

Prerequisites: Users require folio administrator+ permissions for the module to complete this task.

You can delete the top-level modules and their respective sub-modules.

Warning
Deleting a module permanently removes the module from the Cartella database. Deleted modules cannot be recovered.

To delete a top-level module:
  1. Log in to Cartella as an administrator or folio owner.
  2. Navigate to the appropriate folio from the main navigation.
  3. In the folio module navigation, which contains each active module, click the module that you want to delete.
    Note
    After Cartella has been installed, the folio navigation contains default module names. It may display as another name if it was changed from its default name after setting up the Cartella instance.
  4. In the moderator actions area, click Delete.

    Edit Module Types

    The Confirm dialog displays.
  5. Click OK only if you are sure you want to delete the module and all sub-modules.
    Cartella permanently deletes the module from the database.
