InSite Search Configuration
Ingeniux InSite Search is a powerful way to index content from a variety of sources and return meaningful results. Administrators configure search from the Administration pane in order to view and edit search sources all in one place.
The Search configuration interface in the CMS helps set up some of the critical aspects of InSite Search. Administrators can set boosts and exclusions for fields, exclude entire schemas from search, and create custom search settings. The Search configuration interface also provides the ability to import ancillary search configuration files, which helps to further customize the search index.
At times, it may be advantagious to view the SearchSource.config file, which is an XML file that gets populated after you configure search settings through the Ingeniux CMS UI. For more information about viewing this file, see SearchSource.config.
