Basic Search

Users can conduct simple searches from the sidebar.

To search for a page or an asset:

Select the Search icon in the utility toolbar.
The Search pane displays.
Enter the search term(s) or query in the search field.
Choose to select the Include Pages checkbox, the Include Assets checkbox, or both.

When searching for assets, CMS 10.0–10.5 only indexes asset item titles. After asset text search configuration in CMS 10.6, users can run full text searches on text-based assets. See CMS 10.6 Asset Text Searches for details.
Select the search button (magnifying glass) to the right of the search field.
The results of the search show below the text field.
