Checking Pages In or Out

About Checking Pages Out and In | Users check out pages to make content changes, and users check in those pages to apply the changes.

Checked-in pages cannot be edited until they are checked out. Changes made to pages that are checked out do not take effect until the page is checked in. New pages are automatically checked out and assigned to the creator.
