In previous versions of the CMS, assets were uploaded and treated as physical files without any tracking of workflow or publishing. In Ingeniux CMS 10.x, assets are treated the same as pages and components, and have all the same abilities. Thus, assets can now be assigned to specific people or groups who need to work on them.

The Assets box on the Dashboard shows your total number of asset items and is a shortcut to the Assets area of the CMS.
