Settings

About Settings | Use Settings to configure and manage categories, groups, users, modules, roles, folios, licensing, search, email customization, and reports for the Cartella site instance.


Prerequisites: Users require site administrator permissions to access Settings.

Note: If a topic includes a prerequisite that the user requires a role with a plus (+) (e.g., Users require contributor+ permissions), the user requires the stated role or a higher-ranking role to complete the task or access the site area. See Built-In Cartella Roles for details.


Settings, available only to site administrators, contains tools for configuring and maintaining a Cartella site. Navigate to Settings via the ancillary navigation.

In Settings, use the Cartella Management navigation to access different settings. Clicking Settings takes the site administrator to the Category Management view by default.

The Cartella Management navigation options include:

Licensing Configure Cartella software licensing.
Configuration Management Sync user groups and configure search and email.
Customize Build custom objects and views for development and manage fields.
Reports View search term and user activity reports.

The management settings maintain a similar look and feel. The Configuration Management, Customize, Licensing, and Reports settings differ.
