Restricting Asset Publication

For any asset, you can restrict its publication and availability to a specific time range. This feature could be particularly useful if, for example, an asset had a limited licensing window for usage. The asset could be set to expire after that time range.

To restrict an asset's publication:

Navigate to Assets > Assets Tree.
Select an asset in the Assets Tree.
In the Overview tab, locate Properties > Restrict Asset Publication to.
Click within the Start Date field. An interactive calendar displays.
Select a date from the interactive calendar. The date selected populates the Start Date field.
If you need to start the effective date at a particular time of day, enter the time in the fields provided.
Click within the End Date field. An interactive calendar displays.
Select a date from the interactive calendar. The date selected populates the End Date field.
If you need to end the expiration date at a particular time of day, enter the time in the fields provided.
It's a good idea to add a note that provides an explanation of why the asset was restricted in the Notes field.

All Restrict Asset Publication to fields are optional.
