Previewing Pages

The Preview tab provides a rendering of the current page as it will look when published. This view is completely functional, with all navigation and links displaying and working as they will when the page and its dependencies are published to the live site. Clicking Preview also saves changes to the page.

To access page preview:
  1. Navigate to Site > Site Tree.
  2. Select a page in the Site Tree.
  3. Click the Preview tab.

    In order for pages to display in the Preview tab, a developer must first code the view for the schema. An overview of the process can be found in Getting Started with ASP.NET MVC.
