CMS content contributors can use the Oxygen Desktop Plugin to access DITA assets (and other XML assets) in Ingeniux CMS from Oxygen XML Editor. While contributors can use the plugin as a connector for DITA assets, they can also use the plugin to access any XML assets stored in Ingeniux CMS and edit them in Oxygen XML Editor.

The installed plugin provides tools to check out, edit, save, and check in DITA resources stored in the CMS Assets Manager. Additionally, contributors can create DITA assets in the Oxygen Desktop Plugin and save them to the CMS Assets Manager without leaving the Oxygen XML Editor authoring UI.
