Unpublished Assets Icon
Prerequisites: Ingeniux CMS 10.6 must be installed. See CMS Statistics to check the site version.
CMS 10.6 displays an asset icon on element fields that contain unpublished assets within pages and components.
The unpublished assets icon can display on the following element types:
Asset.
Asset linkSet.
XHTML editor.
This icon displays on these elements in the Edit tab index form under the following conditions:
Assets are not marked for publish. If an asset icon (red) displays next to the XHTML editor element in the edit form, then at least one asset within the element is not marked for publish to the current publishing target.
Assets marked for publish but have never been published. If an asset icon (yellow) displays next to the XHTML editor element in the edit form, then at least one asset within the element is marked for publish but has never been published to the current publishing target.
The current publishing target refers to the target currently selected within the Site Tree. If an element contains both an unmarked asset and a marked asset that haven't been published, then the asset icon displays as red.
Users can hover over the asset icon to view details about the unpublished assets. The tooltip text displays each asset's publishing status, each asset's ID, and the publishing target in question.
The CMS doesn't require users to resolve these unpublished assets. Users can check in, mark, and publish site pages and components, no matter if their elements reference unpublished assets.
To resolve the unpublished assets, refer to the following topics:
See Marking Assets for Publish for details to mark the asset(s) to the publishing target.
See Publishing within Assets Manager for details to publish the asset(s) to the target.
