Removing Members from Groups in Sub-Folios

Prerequisites: Users require folio administrator+ permissions in the parent folio or sub-folio to complete this task.

Note

Users who have both folio and site administrator permissions, see Removing Members from Groups in Cartella Site Settings for details to remove members from global groups.

Removing members from groups cancels the users' group-given roles.

Warning

If folio administrators remove themselves from the group associated with the folio administration role, Cartella immediately removes their permissions.

To remove a member from a user group:

Log in to Cartella.
Choose one of the following steps.
- Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > [name-of-sub-folio] > Manage > Groups.
- Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > Manage > Modules > [name-of-sub-folio] Manage > Groups.
Click Users in the group's table row.
The Multiple Selection dialog displays.
Select the user(s) to remove in the Selected Choices list.
Note
Click CTRL+Shift to select multiple users.
Click the left arrow button.
The users move from the Selected Choices list to the Available Choices list.
Click OK
Cartella removes the members from the user group.
