Deleting Galleries

Prerequisites: Users require at least one of the following:
  • Users require moderator+ permissions for the module or specific gallery to complete this task.
  • Users require contributor+ permissions for the module or specific gallery and must be the item creator to complete this task.

Deleting a gallery sends the gallery and its images to the module's Deleted view. Folio Administrators and moderators choose to restore the item to the module or permanently purge the gallery and its images from the database. See the Deleted Manager View for details.

To delete a gallery:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > [name-of-galleries-module].
  3. Choose one of the following steps.
    • Click Delete for the desired gallery in the Galleries area (right).

    • Click the desired gallery in the Galleries area navigation (left).
      1. Click Delete in the gallery view.

    A dialog displays to confirm the deletion.
  4. Click OK.
    Cartella deletes the gallery from the module.
