Approving Submissions


Prerequisites: Users require moderator+ permissions in the parent folio or module to complete this task.

Before new content submissions are displayed on a Cartella site, they must be approved by an administrator or moderator, unless the user submitting the content has permission to create an approved item. When a user without this permission creates new content, the user will see a message indicating that the item must be approved by a moderator.

To approve a module submission:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Choose one of the following steps.
    • Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > [name-of-module] > Manage > Inbox.
    • Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > Manage > Modules > [name-of-module] Manage > Inbox.
  3. Click Approve in content item's row.
