Profile Connections

Connections display current and pending social connections.

A connection between two users has to be initiated by one user and accepted by the other before the connection is established.

New Connections

Prerequisites: Users require a Cartella account to complete this task.
To create social connections:
  1. Log into Cartella.
  2. Click your user name in the menu bar, or click your profile photo.
    Your profile view opens.
  3. In the Connections area, click Add.
    The Choose Connections dialog opens.
  4. Select a user from the Available Choices list.

  5. Click the arrow (or drag and drop) to move the user to the Selected Choices field.
  6. Click OK.

New users will receive connection requests, which display in the Connections area of the profile view.

Accepting Invitations

Prerequisites: Users require a Cartella account to complete this task.
To accept connection invitations:
  1. When the profile view opens, locate the Connections area.
    When another user has sent an invitation to connect, it displays under Connection Invitations.

  2. Click the photo or username of the user who has requested to connect with you.
    The profile view of the user who has requested to connect with you opens.
  3. Under Connections click Approve Connections Request.

Your photo and username now displays in the Connections area of the user who initiated the request, and the username of the newly connected user displays in the Connections area of your profile view.
