Restoring Categories


Prerequisites: Users require site administrator permissions to complete this task.

Deleted categories display as dimmed on the Deleted Category Management view. Restoring categories makes the category and its children editable, viewable to users, and applicable to site content. Restored categories display as available.
Note
Restored categories maintain CanApply and CanView permission settings.
To restore categories:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Categories.
  3. Click View Deleted.

  4. Choose one of the following steps.
    • Click the deleted category and select Actions > Restore.

    • Right-click the deleted category in the Category Management tree and click Restore Category.

    Cartella restores the category and its descendants.

    Tip
    Click Normal View to view only available categories.
