Deleting Replication Targets


Prerequisites: See Publishing Prerequisites for details.

Administrators can permanently delete replication targets from publishing targets.
Warning
Deleted replication targets cannot be recovered. If you wish to keep the replication target and block performing replication to the target, see Disabling Replication Targets for details.
To delete a replication target:
  1. Navigate to Administration > Publishing System > Publishing Targets.
  2. Select the appropriate publishing target from the Manage Publishing Targets list.
  3. Click the Replication tab.
  4. Choose the step that corresponds with your CMS version.
    • Version Notes: CMS 10.6
      Click the Remove Replication Target trash button associated with the replication target, and then click Yes in the confirmation dialog that displays.

    • Version Notes: CMS 10.0–10.5
      Click the Remove Replication Target minus (-) icon associated with the replication target, and then click OK in the confirmation dialog that displays.

  5. Click Save in the top-right corner of the Manage Publishing Targets view.
    The CMS permanently deletes the replication target.
