Defining Protected Pages Through Taxonomy

Prerequisites:

Administrators can use the Ingeniux CMS taxonomy categorization system to define pages that need protection behind RTA (Run-Time Authentication).

To protect pages via taxonomy:
Important
Keep in mind that associating an RTA category with pages is the last step in the three-step RTA process. In isolation, tagging pages does not automatically implement RTA on these pages. This categorization task only identifies pages requiring protection so that they can be aggregated (e.g., via the Taxonomy Navigation element on each page) into a list. Each page in the list receives RTA protection.
  1. Log into the CMS as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Site > Site Tree.
  3. In the Site Tree, select the page to protect behind RTA.
  4. Click the Categorize tab.
  5. In the Taxonomy Tree, select Authorization.
    Note
This category may go by a slightly different name.
  6. Click the right-facing arrow. The Authorization category now associates with this page.

  7. Check in the page.
  8. Mark page for publish.
  9. Publish the page. The system now protects the page behind RTA.
