CMS 10.0–10.5 InSite Search Configuration

The Search configuration interface in the CMS helps set up some of the critical aspects of InSite Search. Administrators can set boosts and exclusions for fields, exclude entire schemas from search, and create custom search settings. The Search configuration interface also provides the ability to import ancillary search configuration files, which helps to further customize the search index.

At times, it may be advantageous to view the SearchSource.config file, which is an XML file that gets populated after you configure search settings through the Ingeniux CMS UI. For more information about viewing this file, see SearchSource.config Overview.
