Adding Members to Groups in Sub-Folios

Prerequisites: Users require folio administrator+ permissions in the parent folio or sub-folio to complete this task.
Users who have both folio and site administrator permissions, see Adding Members to Groups in Cartella Site Settings for details to add members to global groups.

Add members to groups. If a site administrator or folio administrator assigns a group to role, group members obtain access to the role's associated permissions. In the Multiple Selection dialog lists, the users' full names and login names display.

To add a member to a user group:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Choose one of the following steps.
    • Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > [name-of-sub-folio] > Manage > Groups.
    • Navigate to [name-of-parent-folio] > Manage > Modules > [name-of-sub-folio] Manage > Groups.
  3. Click Users in the group's table row.
    The Multiple Selection dialog displays.
  4. Optional: Enter the initial letters of the user's username or name in the Search field.
    1. Click Filter.
      Cartella filters users in the Available Choices list.
  5. Select the user(s) to add in the Available Choices list.
    Click CTRL+Shift to select multiple users.
  6. Click the right arrow button.

    The users move from the Available Choices list to the Selected Choices list.
  7. Click OK
    Cartella adds the users as members to the group.
