Deleting Discussions

Prerequisites: Users require at least one of the following:
  • Users require moderator+ permissions for the module or forum topic to complete this task.
  • Users require contributor+ permissions for the module or forum topic and must be the item creator to complete this task.

Deleting a discussion sends the discussion and its posts to the module's Deleted view. Folio Administrators and moderators choose to restore the item to the module or permanently purge the topic from the database. See the Deleted Manager View for details.

To delete a discussion:
  1. Log in to Cartella.
  2. Navigate to [name-of-folio] > [name-of-forum-module] > [name-of-discussion].
  3. Click Delete.

    A dialog displays to confirm the deletion.
  4. Click OK.
    Cartella deletes the discussion from the topic in the Forum module.
