Ingeniux CMS retains metadata for every asset. This allows for an easier categorization and organization of assets, and, of course, it helps users who are looking for a specific asset. With the ability to keep and manage metadata with your assets, Assets management makes it possible to organize assets based on their metadata, automatically.

There are two basic types of schema metadata:

• Technical metadata, which is determined automatically and may change when the asset is modified.
• Descriptive metadata, which cannot be determined automatically, so it must be created and updated by CMS users.
