Authentication Terms
Forbidden folders: Website folders that Ingeniux CMS prevents users, successfully authenticated or not, from accessing. For example, system administrators may set settings or stylesheet directories as forbidden folders. See Configuring DSS Web.config for RTA for details.
Identity provider:
Protected pages: Content items protected by the authentication process. Only users successfully authenticated by the CMS can access protected items. By default, the CMS protects no pages. See Run-Time Authentication (RTA) for details.
Service provider:
Single log-out (SLO): A process that simultaneously cancels all user application sessions intiated via SSO. In other words, if the user logs out of an application, then SLO logs the user out of all other applications where the single SSO credentials apply.
Single sign-on (SSO): A process that successfully authenticates the same user credentials in multiple applications.
