CMS 10.0–10.5 Reverting to Content Unit Versions

Prerequisites:
  • Administrators must complete the prerequisites to enable user access to the Design tab. See Page Builder Prerequisites for details.
  • The content unit must be associated with a view saved in the Assets Tree.
  • The content unit must have previous versions.

Similar to reverting previous versions of Site Tree pages, revert the current view to a previous checked-in version.

To revert the view to a previous version:
  1. Navigate to Site > Site Tree.
  2. In the Site Tree, select or create a page with the layout you want to edit.
  3. Check out the page.
  4. Click the Design tab.
    The Design Presentation pane opens to the right of the Design tab workspace.

  5. Click the Content Units area in the Design Presentation pane.

  6. Locate the content unit with the view you wish to edit. Click the Preview Content Unit icon. The Preview Content Unit dialog displays.

    View Versioning

  7. Click View Versioning.
    The Content Unit View Version History dialog displays.

    Revert Content Unit Version

  8. Click the previous version to restore and click Revert.
    Ingeniux CMS replaces the current version with the previous version.
