Release Summary

Ingeniux Fonto Editor builds integrate seamlessly with the Ingeniux CMS platform, providing customized feature enhancements and other updates that improve the overall functionality of the editor and optimize user experience. Fonto displays directly within the CMS Assets Manager as an integrated tab for DITA assets and can also display as a standalone application.

Build Compatibility and Requirements

• CMS 10.6 must be installed before installing the Fonto custom tab application. See Ingeniux CMS 10.5–10.6 Installation and Upgrades for details.
• ASP.NET Core Runtime version 6 or higher must be installed. See Microsoft: ASP.NET Core Runtime Windows Hosting Bundle Installer to download the latest ASP.NET Core Runtime version.

Build 8.11.2 - February 11, 2025

• Fixed error message that displays when you click the AI Insert button without an open document. The AI Insert modal now displays a clear message, indicating a document needs to be open in order to use the feature.

Build 8.11.1 - January 30, 2025

• Merged FontoDitaServiceAPI into the IGXFontoEditor solution. If you upgrade to this build from a previous Fonto version, delete the FontoDitaServiceAPI folder from your Fonto installation. This folder is no longer needed and will not be found in new builds.
• Added versioning system based on Fonto build version. Moving forward, Ingeniux Fonto builds will be numbered using the standard semantic versioning x.x.x format. This build starts with 8.11. The number is based on the Fonto SDK version.
• Improved the Version Info popover modal to reflect new versioning system changes.
• Improved ReadMe.md documentation.
