AI Module 2 Taxonomy Categorization
Taxonomy categorization plays a crucial role in content management that directly impacts content findability, organization, and overall user experience. The process of manually assigning taxonomy categories to pages and components can be time-consuming and lead to inconsistencies. The Taxonomy tab in the Ingeniux AI Generation module version 2 transforms this process by leveraging artificial intelligence to analyze page content and suggest appropriate taxonomy categories.
The AI evaluates the context, keywords, and themes within your content, comparing the data against your existing CMS Taxonomy Tree structure to recommend relevant classifications for pages and components. This intelligent analysis helps to ensure accurate categorization based on the substance of the content rather than subjective interpretation.
To access this feature, go to a checked-out page in the Site Tree, then click the
Ingeniux AI icon in the utility bar and click the Taxonomy tab. This integration
ensures metadata generation becomes a seamless part of your content creation workflow.
Key Features and Functionality
Key features and benefits include:
- Promotes uniform categorization across CMS content.
- Enhances content findability by providing relevant and comprehensive categorization suggestions.
- Suggests only categories the user has security access to and that are allowed on the content item.
- Provides advanced options, allowing users to specify category roots for the AI to consider, limiting suggestions to individual branches of the taxonomy tree.
After generating taxonomy suggestions with AI, the Taxonomy tab clearly distinguishes between AI-suggested categories and manually assigned categories. Users maintain complete control, with the ability to accept or reject any AI suggestions before assigning them to the content item.
Categorization Preparation Considerations
Consider how to prepare for AI taxonomy categorization.
When running AI processes for categorization, the AI system analyzes and considers key factors to ensure accurate suggestions. Factors include:
- Category roots choosen by the user.
- Existing field names and labels within the content item.
- AI Content Generation Help Text associated with the content item fields.
- Existing field content values within the content item.
Enhance your results by specifying root categories to focus the AI's analysis on relevant branches of your taxonomy structure, ensuring more accurate categorization.
