CMS 10.0–10.5 Previewing Content Units

Use Preview to display the Preview Content Unit dialog. You can preview the xml source code, built-in view code, and a rough preview of the content unit.

Note

Aside from previewing, you can use this dialog to create and edit built-in views without developer assistance. See CMS 10.0–10.5 Creating Content Unit Views and CMS 10.0–10.5 Editing Content Unit Views for details.

To preview a content unit with a built-in view:

Navigate to Administration > Presentation Content Units.
The Management screen displays.
Select the content unit with the built-in view in the Field Content Units or Component Content Units tab of the Management screen.
Select Edit in the Actions menu.
The Create/Edit screen displays.
Select Preview in the Content Unit Actions menu.
The Preview Content Unit dialog displays the XML source code and the Rough Preview tab.
