Drag Action

Create alias structures by dragging the DITA asset from the Assets Manager main pane or from the Assets Tree to the Site Tree.

The drag action becomes available when users work with utility trees. Use the drag action to create aliases by doing one of the following:

• Move the DITA asset from the Assets Manager main pane to the Site Tree via the alias drag handle.
• Use the utility tree pin feature to display the Site Tree and Assets Tree side-by-side, and drag the DITA asset from the Assets Tree to the Site Tree.

Use the Site Tree or the Assets Tree context menu to create alias structures in the Site Tree navigation.
